A 计算机技术人员 has strong troubleshooting skills and technical proficiency related to a variety of computer hardware and software systems and attached peripherals, such as monitors, keyboards, printers and drives. Your one year of coursework at Southeast Tech will explore installation and minor repairs to hardware and software systems, as well as how to provide technical assistance and training to users.
As a Computer Repair Technician from STC, you will:
- Determine compatibility for computer operating systems
- Know computer construction, troubleshooting and wiring
- Understand network operating systems and desktop operating systems
- Find work-around solutions in time-sensitive situations
- Demonstrate customer service skills as it relates to user training and assistance
